Cherry Grove
Cherry Grove has been a haven since the 1930s and is widely called the first gay and lesbian town in the United States. The Community House and Theatre is on the National Register. Ice Palace has run longer than any other LGBTQ nightclub in the world. Rainbow flags are not décor here; they are the civic color.
